Inspired by the classic stripe polymer clay cane and different colors, I made some stripe canes with different colors and placed them on these crochet hooks, that will make crochet projects more comfortable, fun, and exciting. This crochet hook set is made by Susan Bates and has all the crochet hook sizes you will need for creating projects with different stitch sizes. Crochet hooks will be labeled when they arrive in your mailbox.

Sow’s Ear Studio is open until 2p.m. today, and will be open with normal hours on Tuesday. With Rosemary out recovering from hip replacement surgery, healing on the outside and inside, we’re spending our Christmas Eve at cousin Debbie’s house this year. Debbie always makes a wonderful holiday meal and our holiday is filled with fun and laughter. Rosemary and Lauren of Sow’s Ear Studio would like to wish everyone a warm and happy holiday 2016. See photos of Christmas 2016 (December 25th, 2016) See Sow’s Ear Studio’s etsy shop come alive after the first of the year with all of Rosemary’s painted creations. So from our family to yours, Happy Holidays.
Generally the Prock family rotates with cousin Debbie (mom’s cousin) for the holidays, but with mom having health issues, we’ve been spending Christmas with cousin Debbie at her house. It’s nice to have to bring a dish and spending time with the family. I love taking photographs of Christmas trees, the holidays, and photos of the family. For Christmas 2016, we’re spending the holidays with cousin Debbie. Debbie loves to be the hostess at all kinds of parties and is creative with her parties.
This Christmas tree is in her dining room in her home, along with a white Christmas tree in her living room. Christmas dinners are also my favorite part of the holidays. With the appetizers, main meal, and dessert. See new Christmas photos from Christmas 2016 in the next week.
Fresh picked raspberries and blueberries with a little pizazz is what I had in mind when I created this handmade, oval brooch. This handmade brooch is made with raspberry polymer clay, midnight blue polymer clay, a texture sheet, liquid polymer clay, and a silver pin. Pin on the back has been super glued, clayed, baked, and then has a coat of liquid polymer clay on the top of the clay. Brooch may be worn with a jacket, scarf, purse, and can be worn with scarves, and shawls.
FREE SHIPPING: Handmade brooch will be shipped United States Postal Service 1st Class Mail. For further details about shipping, click on the “policies” window next to this description.
DON’T FORGET! Sow’s Ear Studio is having it’s annual diaper drive to benefit SICM (Schenectady Inner City Mission). Diaper drive is right up until the day before New Year’s (Friday December 30th, 2016).
Grab a unique holiday gift while you drop off your baby goods. Give to those less fortunate this holiday season with some diapers, baby food, baby wipes, and much more.
Diapers may be dropped at the checkout counter in the front of the shop. For our diaper drive 2015, we filled our back room with loads of diapers. Rosemary and I would love to see that again this year. Sow’s Ear Studio will be open the week of Rosemary’s surgery (except the day of, December 6th). Until Rosemary returns to the shop, Lauren will be running the shop until she returns.
See you at our diaper drive to benefit SICM and give to those less fortunate this holiday season.

While finishing my bohemian blanket for my bed yesterday, I decided to take a small break and flip through Facebook. Flipping through I stumbled on this article about knitting, crocheting, and mental health. Briefly reading this article about the history, mental relaxation of knitting and crocheting and decided to share it on my Facebook profile. While thinking about how crocheting is my business, I love crocheting, and how it relaxes me, I decided that I wanted to write a small blog about what I think of this article. I like this article because it talks about knitting and crocheting in the past and present.
