Niskayuna, New York native LMProck grew up in a household where art is not only a subject but in the blood. With a mother who is a former graphic designer, artist, muralist & a father who sold commercial printing for 50 years Lauren’s talent came from both her parents. Lauren’s experience with art and printing is what makes her unique.

One day Lauren’s mom was cleaning her studio and stumbled on an old graphic design briefcase with drawings inside, Lauren’s mom said, I didn’t know you had such talent. Lauren looked at the work and said “I didn’t do this”, and Lauren’s mom said I didn’t do this. Giving it much thought, Lauren remembered she do the artwork work in high school and decided to give drawing a try. Picking up a pencil and a paper, Lauren not realized she had her mother’s talent, but realized that she had art in the blood. When Lauren’s dad got her a job where he worked in printing, Lauren also learned what she could do with drawing and printing.

Lauren’s love of theatre came from when the print company where both Lauren and her dad worked and the print company would print the theatre tickets and PlayBill for the theatre. The print company would get tickets and go to the theatre for productions as a family. It wasn’t until 2026 that Lauren remembered these wonderful memories and found her heart in both art and writing about theatre. Lauren loves how talented actors/artists come together to show their work, talent, and creativity. Lauren is coming up with a separate blog to write about theatre and artists, separate from her artwork and life.

Besides art & theatre, Lauren loves music, food, walking, and the beach.
