CROCHET HOOK SIZE: USF5/3.75mm
Watching hurricanes in tropical climates on the news is devastating to me to watch, but the cool thing about hurricanes in the colors in the sky, which is black and white. Not only are you holding a piece of art, but your hands are less likely to feel tired after crocheting for long periods of time.

Inspired by PBS’S CREATE CHANNEL, Knit And Crochet Now at the end of the show, square of the week. Each week Brett Bara would demonstrate a new square of the week for a square sample blanket. This bohemian blanket with my version of a granny square stitch will be for my bed soon. With bohemian making a big comeback and mom painting my bedroom red, I wanted to transform my bedroom into a tropical bohemian bedroom oasis. This square represents some of the great colors that are in bohemian style. Granny square has an open stitch that allows you to not feel super warm, but warm enough to take the cold edge off.
I realized when making blankets for laps and beds, it’s easier to start off with a small square and turning that small square into something big. I also realized with squares you can sew them together as well. I’m not the greatest sewer, but I’m learning as I go. See this blanket come alive this summer.
Going back and fourth in my mind of having a digital newspaper generated with my tweets and interests, I finally decided to keep, generate, and have my own paper by Paper.li. Building sales with Etsy and other parts of my business, stay tuned for a widget on my blog for my online newspaper LMProck. Reading this paper is free, no need to pay. Newspaper is generated once a day, so keep your eyes open.
