Inspiration In A Music Book Located In The Heart Of Saratoga Springs New York Part Two

Hello everyone, I’m sorry for being slightly obsessed with this book, I guess I didn’t realize how good it was & some of the musicians that performed here over the years. This is what’s inspiring me to want to become a writer and incorporate it with my artwork. @thedonmclean performing at @caffelena in the 60’s & 70’s. Photos came right from the Caffe Lena book.

Don McLean frequently performed at the historic Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York, during the late 1960s and early 1970s. While long-standing local lore—and a plaque—suggested he wrote “American Pie” there, McLean clarified in 2011 that he wrote the song in Philadelphia, although he did play at the coffeehouse early in his career.
