July Is Here, Oh My Gosh

I can’t believe that it’s the first day of July is already here and summer 2019 has begun. Summer is just begun and it seems to be flying by so fast. With working on polymer clay, crochet, drawing, getting our new studio started, I feel like it’s a race to see what projects can get done quick. 4th of July is Thursday and I’ll be grilling some steaks and watching the Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular. See the grill come alive on Thursday, along with some new handmade work. I will also be uploading some new items to my Etsy shop soon. Advertisements

Summer Is Here

Hello Summer 2019! What’s been happening with summer so far. Premo Sculpey Accents Gemstone Polymer Clay After getting back into working with polymer clay a few weeks ago, I discovered that Premo Sculpey Accents came up with a new collection of polymer clay, polymer clay gemstones. I bought a few bars of opal, goldstone, and a few other gemstones I’ll reveal later. This photograph reveals an opal polymer clay donut cabochon and a black and white sparkling zebra cane. The best part of this polymer clay is that it doesn’t require mixing or measuring because it’s already done for you. Make gemstone jewelry, sculptures, beads, and more with this unique polymer clay. With experimenting and researching new polymer clay ideas, I’m looking forward to showing more handmade creations that I’ve made. A Blast From The Past

With helping mom getting our work studio at home, painting the front porch, and looking for fresh new ideas, I didn’t have time to blog in the month of May, my apologizes. I’ve also been spreading my socializing wings and falling in love with this gallery. As most of you know, I started off with polymer clay as medium. I love the versatility, the possibilities are endless, and you can create lots of different things. I stopped making jewelry because every where I turned, someone was making jewelry. Now, I’ve decided to get back into making jewelry and join an art gallery in Gloversville, New York called The Micropolis, located in a place called The Mohawk Harvest Coop. When I was working with polymer clay and making jewelry, I wasn’t taking it to a whole new level. Now, I’m spreading my wings and making more jewelry that I find inspiring and hope that people will love and make their own. Search | Red Heart Yarns: An Italian Story

If there’s one thing I love about a handmade business, it’s the researching for new items and items that you like to work with and that will sell. Yarn is on my mind everyday with the colors, textures, thickness, and what will make something for living, wearing, and sharing. Red Heart yarn is one of my favorite yarns to buy and work with. Looking on the Red Heart Yarn website today at the new yarns they have, I stumbled upon this new yarn named An Italian Story. Italian is a part of my nationality and I love products that look like and sometimes come from Italy.  As soon as my yarn inventory is minimized, I’m looking forward to trying some of this beautiful yarn from Red Heart.
